converted his XG30 to LPG at the beginning of March 2007
by a Prins approved installer. It cost 1800 GBP for a
Prins VSI system (generally regarded as the best),
including a 77 litre 'doughnut' tank in the spare wheel
well. This holds 61 litres of gas, allowing for the 80
per cent fill safety cut off. He also asked the
installer to fit new Platinum plugs at extra cost of 48
GBP. The best he has achieved from a full tank of gas
(61 litres) has been 338 miles but he averages 300 to
310 in normal driving. He notices absolutely no
difference in performance and would recommend it to
anyone.
